SMA Foundation Announces 2026-2027 Scholarship Recipients

AUSTIN, TX— Southwest Movers Association (SMA) Foundation is pleased to announce the 2026-2027 scholarship recipients. This year, the Foundation awarded eight scholarships totaling approximately $30,000 to deserving students affiliated with SMA member companies. Since the scholarship program was established in 2000, the Foundation has awarded $347,000 in scholarships to 141 recipients.

The SMA Foundation is a non-profit educational, public relations, research and community service organization created to promote the moving industry in Texas. The SMA Foundation Scholarship Program offers financial education assistance to SMA member employers, their employees and their dependents. The foundation also assists in the funding and development of other programs designed to educate and inform movers and the general public about industry issues.
